The Diamond District NYC!

Just one block south of famed Rockefeller Center in Manhattan is the Diamond District NY, one of the world’s largest shopping district for all sizes and shapes of diamonds and fine jewelry. The United States is the world’s largest consumer market for diamonds, and over 90% of the diamonds that enter America do so through New York City. Located on West 47th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenue, the Diamond District is the Mecca of reputable jewelers. NBC’s Jane Hanson once reported that the value of a single day’s trade in the New York City Diamond District averages around $400 million.
